Empower 54 is an international aid organization currently working in Borno State, Nigeria, which is greatly affected by the terrorist group, Boko Haram. Empower 54 is managing a Nutrition Center with the hopes of transforming it into a model center of excellence, which can be replicated in other parts of Nigeria and the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

Currently, there are 2,500 Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) residing at the center who are suffering from severe malnutrition, but lack any nutritional treatment products. This proposal is to request funding to set-up Ready-to- Use Therapeutic Food (RUTF) production at the Nutrition Center in Maiduguri, Nigeria.
